Hi, Friends.

The Walk to Emmaus is a spiritual renewal program intended to strengthen the local church through the development of Christian disciples and leaders. Don't worry! You do not spend the weekend walking! The 72-hour retreat is based on the Bible story from Luke 24 where two Disciples unknowingly walk with the resurrected Jesus only to discover Jesus' identity as they broke bread together in the village of Emmaus.

My husband, James, and I have each attended a Walk to Emmaus weekend and our experiences have renewed our faith in God, inspired our service in the Church, and connected us with an amazing community of believers.

We hope you will consider going on an upcoming Walk. We believe it will have a positive and lasting impact on your spiritual journey.

Pick up an application from the Welcome Desk, the Church office, or click here. Please return your completed application directly to me or the church office.

If you have questions, feel free to ask James or myself. We will be your sponsors for the Walks.

First United,
Pastor Tish
